As you know the Center For Transforming Lives has been near and dear to my heart for many, many years. I am participating AGAIN in the Annual In Her Shoes Campaign. You can see the successful stories of women and children whose lives have been transformed, moving from homelessness to productive, meaningful lives. I promise that every dollar that is donated goes to help provide shelter, housing, childcare and financial coaching to help break the cycle of poverty. Please help me meet my goal of raising $5000. Put yourself in tHEiR shoes…

Imagine: You are a single mother, with a steady job making just over minimum wage, but it’s not enough: every month it’s a struggle to pay your bills and your credit card debt just keeps growing. You dream of a better future for your family, and owning your own home one day. But “one day” keeps moving farther and farther away.

Tiffany was paired with a Center for Transforming Lives Financial Coach and together they developed a structured savings plan to pay off her debt, raise her credit and save monthly.

She now has a credit score of 620 and recently made the down payment on her first home. As the first homeowner in her family, Tiffany says, “I’m leaving a legacy for my kids.”
