SUPers - Complete the required SUP Skills & Water Safety Assessment in the Highland Park High School swimming pool, rather than the very cold waters of Lake Michigan! This is a one-time opportunity for Members to complete this required assessment INDOORS! The assessment will take approximately 60 minutes (Sign up for 9:00 or 10:00 am) and will include a swim test. Next, see the NSYC calendar to attend one of our 20-minute SUP Equipment sessions early in the summer. At the SUP Euipment session, we'll familiarize you with NSYC's available equipment (SUPs, PFDs, paddles) and the procedures for taking it out. If you are unsure if you have already passed our SUP Skills and Water Safety Assessment in a prior year, contact SUP@NorthShoreYachtClub.com.
There is no charge to NSYC members for this assessment. Pre-registration is required.
Need to Know: Wear or bring appropriate swimming attire and be prepared to swim and get wet. Locker rooms are available for changing. Park off of the Vine St. entrance and look for the North Shore Yacht Club sign and enter at the swimming pool entrance.
