The Adult Learn-to-Sail classes meet once a week for seven weeks, 9:00 AM – Noon on either Saturday or Sunday, starting in early June. Choose Saturday or Sunday. See NSYC Website, Sailing Lessons for a brief description here. Detailed information will follow upon course registration. There are no classes July 4th weekend. A swimming assessment is required; students must be able to swim 50 yards and tread water for 2 minutes.

Classes are for adults. Participation of high school age students is at the discretion of the instructor. Any minor student must have an adult from the same household participating.

NSYC Adult Learn-to-Sail classes are priced competitively with similar classes on the North Shore. All sailing classes require a Full Membership in the North Shore Yacht Club. The first student in any household pays the Full Membership plus the reduced "First Sailor" tuition rate.  Additional students in the household pay the full "Additional Sailors" tuition rate. A student repeating the course pays the Full Membership plus the "Returning Student" rate. See rates below.  

Because classes are limited in size and sell out quickly, no refunds are given once classes begin.
