RUN FOR ROCKY 2015

The Run for Rocky is Mantua PTA’s largest fundraiser of the year that seeks to generate funds that WILL be injected directly into the classroom THIS year. Our Mantua Raccoons ran over 27,000 laps at our 2nd annual fun run on September 25! Though the run is behind us, you can still help us reach our goal by making a donation on or before Friday, October 2!

This fundraiser supports many important educational resources, such as:

classroom educational enhancements,
language arts curriculum materials,
technology such as IPads and document cameras,
staff development and
Family Fun Nights for the school community!

The Run for Rocky also promotes healthy habits, boosts school spirit and fosters community involvement!

RUN FOR ROCKY RAFFLES ARE BEING HELD THIS WEEK during Good Morning Mantua!

For every $100 in donations a student receives, his or her name is entered in the Grand Prize Raffle! Who wouldn't be excited to win one of the following?:

2-Night stay at Great Wolf Lodge donated by Anne and Sarah Harrington, Long & Foster Realtors
X-Box One (valued at $400) donated by Cathy Poungmalai, Frankly Real Estate
iPad Mini (valued at $300) donated by Merrifield Orthodontics
Flicker Scooter (valued at $175) donated by Jennifer Danko, Long & Foster Realtors
Razor Ripstik Board (valued at $100)

The first of our grand prizes will be raffled on Wednesday, September 30. Another prize will be raffled on Friday, October 2. The remaining grand prizes will be raffled on Monday, October 5!

To thank our teachers for all their support throughout the year, and especially during the Run for Rocky, we're hosting a “teachers-only” raffle featuring two $150 Amazon gift cards! Teachers will be entered once for every $500 his or her classroom raises! The drawing for those prizes will be on GMM on Monday, October 5.

If we get donors from all 50 states, the administration gets toilet papered at the spirit parade! We're currently a few states shy.
