Delta Gamma's commitment and passion for their philanthropy is something I've witnessed since I was very young. My grandmother has continued to lives out DG's mission of serving the blind since college, as she volunteers at the library for the blind in Fresno. Growing up, I would hear stories about my Nana's work and got to meet some of her friends who read braille. Now that I have become part of Delta Gamma myself, I am proud to be following in my Nana's footsteps by allying with Service for Sight, the Blind Children’s Center in LA, and Guide dogs for the Blind. Thank you so much for your support!

We have raised $250.00 of our $75.00 goal

The campaign has raised $15,871.80 towards the $15,000.00 goal

Alpha Sigma Chapter of Delta Gamma
University of California, Los Angeles

Anchor Splash 2019

Hello from the members of Alpha Sigma chapter of Delta Gamma at UCLA!  We will be holding our Anchor Splash on May 31st!

We also have a raffle this year featuring a $200 gift card to Ipic theater, $280 Core Power membership, and an Eno hammock! Tickets are $3 online. Click here to buy a ticket!

We would like to thank you for your participation in our fundraiser benefitting the Delta Gamma Foundation.

Anchor Splash is a swimming competition in which sororities, fraternities, service clubs, sports teams and campus interest groups compete in relays, synchronized swimming, and other swimming events. This is one of the most popular and well-attended events at UCLA.

"Do Good," our motto since 1873, was penned by our Founders even before the letters Delta and Gamma were chosen. This motto is alive and well in 2019.

Our VISION is to greatly impact the lives of people who are blind or visually impaired. We also look to benefit our members through life enriching educational opportunities, as well as merit and need-based scholarships and graduate fellowships.

Since 1936, our national philanthropy has been Service for Sight. Delta Gammas across the United States and Canada fundraise and volunteer their time (approximately 120,000 hours per year) to assist those who are blind or visually impaired. Four schools for children who are blind or visually impaired have been established by Delta Gammas and continue to thrive to this day.  Donations from our fundraising events also assist in the area of grants to organizations which share our Service for Sight mission. We are making a difference!

Please accept our gratitude in advance for any donation that you make. The Delta Gamma Foundation is, by law, a 501(c)(3) entity, and your gift is tax deductible in the United States. The Delta Gamma Foundation also accepts matching gifts for your tax deductible contribution.

Thank you and together we will “Do Good.”
