Wisconsin Elfuns, Inc. invites you to join our social club for current or former GE employees and contractors age 50 or above. We are an independent group that is not affiliated with GE. Our membership of over 250 individuals enjoys numerous benefits.
Monthly Wisconsin Elfuns newsletters e-mailed to you via MemberPlanet keep you informed of speaker topics, social events, meet-ups, and volunteer opportunities which may be of interest to you. You may also see articles submitted by fellow members about travel, hobbies, and other activities.
Stay current on local topics at luncheons or via Zoom. Guest speakers cover topics of interest to our group such as annual tax changes, annual Medicare changes, how to avoid scams, home downsizing, and GE HealthCare business updates.
Stay connected with a membership directory so you can keep in touch. Social events bring you together with others sharing the same interests. Our annual picnic and Brewers baseball game are two examples. We also may have wine tastings, museum tours, and other gatherings (some free, some require a small payment).
Volunteer opportunities may include Community Service Day and other service activities.
Luncheon meetings are usually held the first Thursday of each month at 11:30 a.m., September to December and February to June. We utilize hybrid Zoom/in-person luncheons at the Machine Shed in Pewaukee. You can attend one of these luncheon meetings (in person) to find out more about membership before deciding to join. The calendar in the monthly newsletter (available online or sent by request via MemberPlanet email) has more information about the date and subject of upcoming meetings.
Membership is managed online through MemberPlanet and dues are only $12.00 per year. Please go to http://www.wi-elfuns.org and select the “Join our group” button. Follow the prompts to create your account, enter your information and make payment. To pay, click the continue button at the bottom of the Membership Level page. You may pay using:
1) a credit card or direct debit from your bank (can be set up for auto renewal or manual renewal)
2) a personal check payable to “Wisconsin Elfuns” and mailed to Rick Schueller, 815 Janacek Rd, Brookfield WI 53045. (You should select "Manual renewal" for this situation.)
You will receive an acknowledgement from MemberPlanet when payment has been processed and your application to join Wisconsin Elfuns has been approved.
