The Peninsula Education Foundation (PEF) was founded in 1979 to raise money to support the PVPUSD in meeting its funding priorities, in partnership with other groups, to assure continued excellence in our local public schools. This year PEF has pledged $3.1 million. This funding is essential to providing your children a rich academic environment and strengthening their educational experience. Your donations ensure the following programs for all our students:
STEM Grades 4-5
Health and Wellness Counselors
Academic and Wellness Counselors
College Career Center Staff
STEM Programs (PVIT & SMERT)
Graduating Senior Scholarships
for all levels: $1 million of our pledge to the district goes towards teaching positions
$40,000 towards Chuck Miller Teacher Grants
How can you support PEF?
Make a donation to PEF. Any amount is appreciated and needed. It takes everyone’s support to keep our schools great! Donate by credit card or check. All major credit cards are accepted.
Donate appreciated stock. Contact the PEF office for instructions.
Set it and forget it. Create a payment plan and spread out your donation over the entire school year. For example, a donation of $2,500, Major Donor Bronze level, would be broken down into 10 monthly payments of $250 or $625 quarterly. The suggested donation of $750 per child would include 10 monthly payments of $75 or $187.50 quarterly.
Pledge now and pay later.Pledge a specific amount now and pay by June 30, 2019. Contact the PEF office to make a pledge.
