Vista Grande Elementary PTA 2022-23

Welcome to Vista Grande Elementary, home of the Voyagers!

The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a non-profit organization, and our goal is to have a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. We want to build a community at our school where we advocate for the education, protection, inclusivity, safety and well being of all children. We also want to have fun and make every child’s experience at Vista Grande a memorable one!

PTA supports and funds over 25 programs including, Reflections, Art at Your Fingertips, Red Ribbon, Yellow Ribbon and Green Ribbon Weeks, Walk through California, Walk through the Revolution, Spring Festival, assemblies and Movie Night and our newest program, International Day! PTA also has fundraisers throughout the year including Fun Run, Book Fair, Spirit Wear to help fund programs and also purchase technology supplies, software and disaster supplies, and field trip transportation. Please join the PTA and donate so that all Voyagers can have these amazing experiences and make life long memories.  We are unable to have these programs without your support and donations.

By joining the PTA, you are welcome to attend our meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. We encourage everyone to come to our meetings if you are able and help us to advocate for what’s best for the children at Vista Grande. There are also opportunities to volunteer for our programs and help in the classroom. You do not have to attend meetings or volunteer, but your membership and donations will still have a great impact on our school.  We are so excited for next year!

Finally, if you want to buy any school supplies through Amazon, please log on to www.smile.amazon.com and designate Vista Grande in Rancho Palos Verdes as your charity. AmazonSmile will donate a portion of your online purchase back to Vista Grande PTA.

Together, let’s give our Voyagers great enrichment and educational opportunities!

Thank you,
Keri Moller

Dear Voyagers!

Welcome back to school! We are looking forward to seeing each of you when we return to campus. A few things that are important to me as the principal of Vista Grande are student-centered collaboration, partnership and community. We could not ask for a better collaborative partner than our PTA. The members of our PTA work tirelessly and give selflessly of their time so our students can have incredible experiences and opportunities. Our students, staff and families here at Vista Grande feel like a community and that is due in large part to our PTA. Our PTA provides programs and experiences for our students as well as volunteer opportunities for our parents. We hope you’ll take a few moments to fill out the PTA portion of this welcome packet and again, we look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new faces in the fall!

Welcome to Vista Grande!
Thank you,
