Dear Palos Verdes Intermediate Families,

Welcome back!  We have been hard at work over the summer months deep cleaning our campus and preparing for our students’ return. Our PTSA and Booster Club have volunteered countless hours to prepare and plan a successful year for students and families. Before the first day of school, please make sure to double-check that your contact information (email addresses) is up to date in Aeries. Aeries parent/guardian email addressed will be used to communicate vital school information and bi-weekly Principal’s Updates.

Last year presented many challenges for us; despite that, we learned, evolved, and succeeded! As a result, our PVIS was named a Distinguished School Award for 2021! Every year, our students leave for high school equipped with the skills to excel in the arenas of their personal/social, academic, and athletic lives. Conversely, new students begin their journey as Sea Kings every year as part of the growing and learning cyclical process.  I believe that student connectedness through positive relationships with peers, participation in school groups/clubs/activities, and community service is a cornerstone of student achievement. Students are encouraged to get involved and stay involved from the first day to their last day as good habits and positive relationships will serve them long after they graduate. 

Professionally, trust is at the center of my vision. Through trust, meaningful relationships will exist, and people in any organization can flourish.  Communication is an essential component of a successful organization. I will make every effort to ensure transparency and maintain open lines of communication with our students, staff, and families. Our community and the families that make it up are an integral part of making our school unique and successful. We believe that students are most successful when we have a mutual partnership between school and home, and we strive to establish and maintain that bond.

I wish all students, staff, and families a successful school year. Remember, the difference between a dream and its fulfillment is the work you are willing to do.

IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE STARTING:  

Welcome to the PVIS registration packet, which contains all the registration forms for PTSA, Booster Club and PEF. 

Most of our forms auto populate your information to save time and reduce repetition. In order to use this feature, you must do one of the following:
1. Log into your account to the right,  OR
2. Create an account with MemberPlanet - a free service provided by the PVIS PTSA.

 
WHAT IF I MAKE A MISTAKE ON A FORM AND WANT TO CORRECT IT?
• Click on the blue "Return to full summary" link in the top left corner (found on each page) to return to the Registration Packet Cover Page.
• Click on the gear icon to the right of the page that you want to change and follow the instructions.

HOW MAY I PAY?
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD or E-CHECKS are the preferred method of payment for MemberPlanet online registration.  If you must make payment in a different way, please contact:

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL?
You must complete the "REVIEW AND SUBMIT" page at the end of the packet to complete the registration process.  This is the final step of the online packet.  All "submitted" pages will be permanent once you press "Submit" on this step.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE COMPLETED THE ONLINE PACKET?
Once completed, you will receive (1) an email receipt for any items purchased, as well as (2) a thank you confirmation email that states you have completed the registration.  If you do not receive an email, please check your junk mail folder.
