MIS Registration Packet 2022-23


Welcome to the MIS Registration Packet for the 2022-23 school year!
Our online registration packet contains all the registration forms for PTSA, Booster Club, Cotillion, and PEF. For the quickest and easiest registration, please use the button in the right column to create a MemberPlanet account. If you already created a MemberPlanet account at MIS or another school, please click on "Log-in now" and log-in before starting your registration packet. Please complete the entire packet and submit it online.

Credit card, debit cards or e-checks are the preferred method of payment for MemberPlanet online registration. Transactions on your statement will be listed as "Memberplanet, LLC" or "MP". If you need a refund or are confused about a transaction, simply reach out to the PTA at ptsamiralesteintermediate@gmail.com, or Memberplanet though their support website, support.memberplanet.com.

You also may pay by cash or check at the MIS FAQ's Day on August 17th from 8am-1pm. If paying by cash or check on this day, please select “pay by mail” on the "Review and Submit" Page.

For the 2022-2023 school year, MIS students will NOT need to come to MIS on a Registration Day to receive their class schedules and locker numbers. Instead, schedules and locker numbers will be printable from Aeries. Ideally schedules and locker assignments and are made available the week leading up to the start of school. Thank you in advance for your patience if this is not the case. It is highly recommended to purchase locks the week prior to school so students can practice their combinations before school starts. Please note locks may not be placed on lockers before the first day of school.
This will be held on Wednesday, August 17th 8:00am-12:00pm in the gym. During WEB Rookie Camp, incoming 6th graders and 7th/8th graders new to the PVPUSD are led through activities designed to help the transition to Miraleste go smoothly. Students who attend will meet their 8th grade WEB Leaders trained to mentor students throughout the school year. Wear comfortable clothes (avoid skirts and dresses as many activities are on the floor). Campus tours are also part of WEB Rookie Camp. WEB Leaders will be sending information in early August so please check email. This is for students only. No RSVP necessary. August 17, 2022- Sixth Grade Pool and Pizza Party. Pizza will, be served in 8th grade park from 12:00-12.30pm following WEB Rookie Camp and swimming will be from 12:30-?
Although there will not be a formal Registration Day, the MIS PTSA will host a MIS FAQ's Day on Wednesday August 17th from 8am-1pm for any new families that would like to tour the school, and any new or returning families that would like to register for PTSA, Booster, or related activities such as Cotillion in person. Onsite technical support, PV Transit, PVLD (library card, after school programs, free tutoring services etc...) and Ambassadors will also be available to answer questions.

The MIS store & office will be open August 8th–17th between 8:00am-1:00pm to purchase locks, agenda books, PE clothing, yearbooks and Marauder swag.

Textbook distribution will take place Tuesday, August 16th – Thursday, August 18th between 8:00am-1:00pm in the Library.

- August 8, 8:00am-1:00pm: MIS Student Store and Office will be open
- August 16-18, 8:00am-1:00pm: Textbook Distribution in Library
- August 17th, 8:00am-1:00pm: MIS FAQ's hosted by PTSA - PTSA and Booster tables, onsite technical support, PV Transit and PVLD available.
- August 17th, 8:00am-12:00pm: Incoming 6th graders WEB Rookie Camp, orientation, lunch, and pool party. 
- August 24th: First day of school/Picture Day, minimum day schedule 8:15am-12:15pm
- TBD, Lunch: Ice Cream Mixer for new students to PVPUSD (6th, 7th and 8th) as well as small feeder schools such as (Cornerstone, Soleado, Point Vincente, Silver Spur)
- September 20th, 9am: First PTSA Association Meeting location MIS Library

First Day of School
Attend only period 1 class.
Bring: Water bottle, PE Clothes and lock for PE Locker, and a smile for picture day. No snack break but popsicles will be served after the school-wide photo shoot.

Supplies for the second day of school: pencil pouch with blue/black pens and pencils, agenda planner, and 1 spiral. Teacher supply lists will be provided to students on the second day of school.

For faster service at the Student Store, please print and fill out your ASB Order Form, available on the MIS website, and bring it to the Student Store on one of the above dates. Cash/checks only accepted at the Student Store. Please make payable to "MIS ASB.”
