While we understand that all Bethel Schools are Distance Learning for the time being, Kapowsin PTA is still hard at work for our students and staff.

Why should I join Kapowsin PTA?
PTA membership and dues support your child by funding essential educational and curriculum needs; advocating on behalf of children and educators at the local, state and national levels; and building an inclusive school community for all families. We invite you to join Kapowsin PTA for your child because increasing our membership, even by one, makes it possible to provide important educational resources, speak up important issues and create a stronger school community. There is no wrong or right way to be involved - anything you can give, whether it's time or money, will support your child's potential.

What does Kapowsin PTA do for our family?
Kapowsin PTA provides funding for classroom supplies through Staff Grants. We provide vital funding for grade level enrichment knowing that learning doesn't just come from a book. We also celebrate our families through community events. And, to finish each year off, we collect photos taken throughout the year and compile it into our Annual Yearbook. These are all offered through our fundraising efforts. 

We also join Bethel Area Council PTA and Washington State PTA in advocating for your child's potential. Every year the State PTA chooses 5 Legislative Principles and numerour Resolutions to bring to the capital that impact the health, safety and overall welfare of your child.
PTA's have advocated for things such as having longer lunch and recess times, including kindergarten in basic education, and anti-child labor laws.

What does Kapowsin PTA expect from me?
We expect nothing more than you are willing to give. To be a member, all you must do is pay dues. These are:
$10 for Kapowsin Staff & Teachers
$12 for Single Membership
$20 for Dual Membership (Savings of $4)
$30 for Triple Membership (Savings of $6)
You don't have to volunteer, we may not even be able to have volunteers.
You don't have to come to meetings, although if you do your voice can bring changes to Kapowsin PTA.

Who can join Kapowsin PTA?
Any living human being anywhere in the world. This means grandma that lives in Florida or Uncle Joe that moved to Germany can be members of Kapowsin PTA if they want to. Or any of our local store owners or their employees. You don't have to have a child enrolled at Kapowsin PTA to be a member. You just have to have the desire for each child to reach their full potential, whatever that may be.
