The Nassau County Shomrim Society is an organization founded in 1962 to promote the religious spirit of Police Officers of the Jewish faith and their families. To promote social well-being, strengthen friendships, and promote welfare of all our members and their loved ones. To develop good will in our community and cooperate with all those who would have us make progress. The membership includes Law Enforcement Officers from Nassau and Suffolk counties.

The Nassau County Shomrim Society consists of personnel from Nassau and Suffolk County Police, Nassau County Sheriffs and Probation, the Nassau District Attorney's Office and members of the local village police departments and Nassau County Auxiliary Police personnel.

Nassau County Shomrim Society Foundation, Inc. is a recognized 501(c)(3) charity.
