Louisiana Society of Radiologic Technolgists

Dry Prong, Louisiana

The Louisiana Society of Radiologic Technologists (LSRT) is in the state of Louisiana to Advocate for Imaging Technologists in our state!  We fight to ensure our licensure laws remain in place and to fight against encroachment of individuals on our profession that have not been properly trained or licensed to operate imaging equipment.  We are the VOICE of imaging technologists, your membership dues allow us to remain fighting for Our Profession!

Continuing Education
This Society offers Live Lecture CE credits twice a year, a 1-day meeting called Midwinter Seminar and a 2-day meeting called Annual Meeting.  All lectures are submitted to the ASRT for CE credit as well as to the ARRT for CQR credit.  Please be sure to look at both the ASRT CE credit as well as the ARRT CQR credit when attending a meeting.

Our Mission

The purpose of the LSRT shall be to advance the professions of radiation and imaging specialties, to maintain high standards of education, to enhance the quality of patient care, and to further the welfare and socioeconomics of Radiologic Technologists. In order to maintain high levels of ethical conduct, the LSRT adopts the Code of Ethics established by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
