Our theme this year is “Journey: Where will you go?” It encourages us to venture into new territory, find innovative ways to meet challenges, and think creatively about propelling our organization forward. The September 16th meeting has a lot of interesting information in store for us. We are excited to welcome back as our guest presenter, Chassidy Olainu-Alade of Fort Bend ISD, who will enlighten us on the interesting topic of the Sugar Land 95.
With the assistance of Amy Bice, Second Vice President of Lambda Sigma Chapter, we have also invited members of the Fort Bend County Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAWU). This sister organization has as its mission “to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research,” so we are on the same wave length. Invite your guests to join us at the September 16 meting, which will be through Zoom.
