Welcome to the online membership site for the International Adam Smith Society. We are using a platform developed by Member Planet to enroll new members, allow existing members to view and manage their membership renewals, host an online directory and perform many other functions.   

The International Adam Smith Society was founded in 1995 to encourage scholarship from many disciplinary perspectives on Adam Smith’s writings and connected themes.  In support of this purpose we also work to facilitate collegial conversation and exchange among those interested in Smith. The Society sponsors a peer-reviewed journal, the Adam Smith Review, as well as conference sessions in association with other learned societies.  

Membership is open to anyone interested in Smith's writings and supportive of the broad aims of the Society.  Annual membership currently costs $25 and allows the purchase of heavily discounted copies of the Adam Smith Review, access to IASS sponsored events and sessions, and provides access to members-only news and networking opportunities.
