We are the Central Pennsylvania chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association serving Union, Snyder, Northumberland & Montour Counties.
The Greater Susquehanna Valley Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association was chartered 36 years ago as an extension of the Penn State Alumni Association. The primary mission of the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chapter is to provide financial aid in the form of scholarships to area students attending Penn State. Since our inception in 1978, our chapter has grown to over 1100 active members, has awarded well over to $120,000 in scholarship monies to incoming freshmen attending the Pennsylvania State University and started and grown an Endowed Scholarship fund to provide financial aid to upperclassmen already enrolled at Penn State.
