Please be advised that there were three complimentary MIP Certification trainings offered and held prior to the October 10, 2020 West Texas State Workshop.
All West Texas Chapter Basilei have received communication to share with their membership.
West Texas Zetas and Amicae:
I am excited that we are quickly approaching our 2020 West Texas State Workshop, which allows for Sorors and Amicae from West Texas to engage in fellowship, empowerment and receive first-class leadership training.
In our New Normal, the 2020 West Texas State Workshop will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 virtually via Zoom from 9AM to 4PM.
This one day event is action-packed and filled with leadership training, national programs and initiatives overview, empowerment, and MIP Certification Training.
We have been working hard to ensure you all have an information-filled and fun day.
The workshop sessions will be facilitated by current & past National Officers, the Southern Regional Director, the West Texas State Director, Southern Regional Officers & other workshop professionals.
The sessions have been carefully chosen to get your chapter prepared to implement the strategic plan of the International Grand Basileus, Valerie Hollingsworth-Baker, and the regional goals of our Southern Regional Director, Keisha M. Beasley.
We look forward to seeing each of you and hope you don’t miss this opportunity.

TO REGISTER, please select the best option for you:
WTX Workshop is FREE for all Financial Sorors (Graduate and Undergraduate) and Amicae attending the Workshop. This option must be selected if you plan to attend. It does not include the purchase of the MIP Manual. Attendees must also select lunch and MIP options below if desired.
MIP Certification & Manual is for West Texas Graduate and West Texas Undergraduate Sorors that are attending the Workshop, plan to obtain MIP certification and want to purchase the MIP Manual (Zetas Only). The cost is $20.00 which includes the manual plus the cost to ship/mail the manuals ordered to the Soror's chapter mailbox. Please note that manuals will not be sent out to individuals, but instead they will be sent to the Soror's chapter mailbox with other orders from said chapter.
MIP Certification Only is for West Texas Graduate and West Texas Undergraduate Sorors that are attending the Workshop and plan to obtain MIP certification (Zetas Only). Free

FAQs
Q:How much does it cost to register for the WTX Workshop?
A:There is no registration fee associated with the WTX Workshop.
Q: I am a financial Zeta attending the WTX Workshop & would like to purchase the MIP manual.
A: You may purchase the MIP manual by selecting the WTX Workshop and MIP Manual option. The manual has not been updated (if you already have one, you do not need to reorder a new on). These options include all associated fees.
The MIP Manual will only be mailed to chapter addresses only (in bulk). No individual mailings will be made to indiviudal Sorors who order a manual.
Q: I am a financial Graduate Zeta attending the WTX Workshop. I would like to receive Advisor and/or Sponsor Certification Training. Will it be offered?
A: Not at this time. We will only offer MIP certification at the state workshop.
Q: What is the attire?
A: The attire for Saturday is business casual for both Zetas and Amicae. Dress comfortably and wear comfortable shoes. If you do not have a chapter/auxiliary polo top, paraphernalia polos or tops (not t-shirts) and capris, slacks, skirts, etc. are perfect.
Please remember this is a Zeta event and should represent Finer Womanhood at all times.
Q: What should I have access to during this virtual workshop?
A:
- A great attitude and a zeal to fellowship with your Friends and Sorors
- Snacks nearby you during the virtual workshop
- Pen and paper for taking notes and/or fully charged electronic devices
- Your Zeta/Amicae reference material.
Note: The last day to register is Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 11:59PM.
