Elevating the ZOOM Call Experience

Please join us as four expert panelists help us Elevate the Zoom Call Experience. Since Zoom calls don’t appear to be going away any time soon, and at the same time have left many of us feeling burned out and restless from these meetings, this panel will help us find ways to improve the experience and outcomes for you and your meeting attendees.

From what you wear, to your environment, the outline and content of the meeting, as well as proper etiquette, our dynamic panel will give us the tools we need to keep leveling up our calls in 2021.

Our Panelists:

Nancy Nix-Rice

Nancy is a veteran wardrobe and image consultant who helps women dress to showcase their best features and express their professional persona in order to achieve the results they want.  She is author of the book LOOKING GOOD … Every Day – a consumer favorite and also used as the textbook to train new consultants at colleges literally around the world.

Having your professional presence reduced to the size of a game square makes it challenging to maintain credibility and influence.
This session will clearly illustrate the do’s and don’ts of clothing selection, accessories, makeup and more so you can be just as impactful on a computer screen as you are in person.

JJ Kirkpatrick

JJ Kirkpatrick helps entrepreneurs and small businesses tell their story. His company, Mitchell Blackwood Productions, specializes in video production for speakers, authors, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. He serves a wide variety of industries including Professional Development, IT, Health, Financial Planning, Education, Manufacturing, and Transportation. His clients are leaders in their space and seek his guidance on what kinds of content to create and how to distribute it to their audience.

During the recent pandemic, JJ helped many of his clients produce short form professional videos for virtual conferences. He also helped several individuals dramatically improve their home based video conferencing by adding DSLR cameras, professional audio, and lighting.

JJ is a graduate of NYU’s Film School and has been serving St. Louis companies for over 25 years.

JoAnna Pallardy, BFA, MA

JoAnna is a Senior Client Services Manager at Safety National, an excess workers’ compensation insurance carrier. With almost 16 years in the insurance industry, she enjoys working with her team in the development and maintenance of Safety National’s Online Risk Control Client Service platform. The implementation of these resources to her clients is the fun part of her career which used to include business travel and conference experiences, but now is made up of daily online client interactions and virtual meetings.

JoAnna is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications. She continued her education at the University of Missouri – St. Louis with a Master of Arts in Organizational Behavior. She currently lives in the St. Louis area with her husband and two little boys.

Melenie Broyles

Melenie Broyles, owner of Etiquette Saint Louis and Etiquette Impact, is an etiquette consultant who believes having good manners is more than knowing which fork to use.

Melenie worked in corporate human resources prior to starting Etiquette Saint Louis in 2000.  After reflecting on her experience, she has seen a real need for programs that encourage professionalism, confidence and the understanding of impact.  Melenie feels, “Everyone should have the opportunity to feel comfortable in social and business situations”.

Melenie is a sought after speaker from coast to coast, working with everyone from children, corporate teams and the NFL.

FAQs
Must I be a member to come?
No, for the monthly meeting, you do NOT need to be a Member. You may join us as a guest for three (3) meetings before you choose to join us as a Member. We'd be remiss if we didn't mention, however, that along with a plethora of other benfits to members, every meeting fee is reduced for those who are already Members at the national and local level. If you think you may want to join as a Member to enjoy these perks, please visit our national site HERE and do so BEFORE you register for the event to take advantage of reduced Member meeting fees immediately. (note that national dues are pro-rated at the time you register and that there is an additional nominal annual fee payable to the local chapter so make sure you select "St. Louis" when selecting your local chapter)

Is this only for Insurance Agents?
Not at all!  The organization serves women in ALL financial services and related fields. For instance, CPA's, Tax Attorneys, Bookkeepers, Financial Planners & Advisors, Bankers, and people in related fields such as professional coaches, etc.  Learn about the benefits of joining the organization at the local chapter level HERE.

When are monthly meetings?
Greater St. Louis Chapter WIFS typcially meets every FOURTH WEDNESDAY of the month, with the exception of November and December, to accommodate winter holidays. We also do not have a meeting in July as our Members find it's a time when they prefer to enjoy summertime fun.
What is the refund policy?
Because we are obligated to make arrangements with the venue to include you well in advance, once you've registered for the meeting, we will be billed for your lunch. Therefore, we hope you understand that WE CANNOT ISSUE REFUNDS once tickets have been submitted online and purchased.

What if I don't have a PayPal account when I register?
No problem. While most people find it convenient to use their PayPal acccount, we like to give  you options. When the PayPal link loads up, simple choose to "CHECK OUT AS A GUEST". You'll then be able to enter your credit card information as you would for any other online purchase.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Please email Stephanie Martinez, our St. Louis chapter president, stephanie@theestateplannerllc.com, with any questions you may have. Be sure to put "WIFS Meeting Registration" in the Subject Line.

Is my registration/ticket transferable?
Your registration/ticket is transferable to another attendee however, you must UPDATE YOUR RESERVATION ONLINE 24 HOURS PRIOR to the start of the meeting.  Registrations are NOT transferable between events.  NOTE: Since we must give a headcount to the venue ahead of time, WIFS Greater St. Louis Chapter cannot guarantee that meal accommodations can be met with transferred registrations. We will make a "best effort" to accommodate you, however we request you contact WIFS directly at stephanie@businessandestateplanning.com to address any specific dietary restrictions due to health reasons.  Be sure to put "WIFS Meeting Registration Transfer" in the Subject Line.
