LEONARD ROSE CENTENNIAL TRIBUTE

Our featured guest will be Art Rose, Leonard Rose's son. Those attending will view rare film footage and hear audio recordings of one of the greatest cellists in history, including excerpts from his last recital.
Mr. Rose created an amazing legacy through his recordings as well as his incredible lineage of students, many of whom are currently some of the finest (and well-known) cellists to date. Many former students will be in attendance and will participate in panel discussion and Q & A session.
You won't want to miss this opportunity to hear from many notable cellists and musicians speaking of their experiences with one of the most prominent cellists and pedagogues in cello history! There will also be a silent auction of several rare memorabilia items, as well as some other surprises!
Event is free for VCS Members and $20 per person for Non-members
