It’s time again for our Welcome Back Dinner, where we catch up with each other and learn about everyone’s summer activities. We learn how to eat crayfish the Swedish way, we eat good food, sing and have a great time.
As usual, we ask that each family group bring a dish large enough to share with other - please be generous. We suggest a dish in the category below that includes the first letter of your last name.

A-G: Main Dish H-R: Salad/Side S-Z: Dessert
As in previous years, we are planning to incorporate all the traditional Swedish party activities and attires, with conical paper hats and lanterns, colorful tablecloths, bibs, and a jovial atmosphere for members to socialize and toast the end of summer. You may bring your own beer (BYOB) to enjoy as we learn to sing traditional Swedish drinking songs (snapsvisor) and “How to Peel a Crayfish”.
This event is free for Lodge members for whom we have received their $50 2019 dues, $15 for all other adults, free for children under age 12. Life Members and Youth Members are requested to pay $15 for their meals since their dues are only $25.75. Please RSVP by September 2 by clicking on any of the ticket buttons below. If you haven't paid your 2019 dues yet, you may pay your dues at the event or by credit card over our MemberPlanet platform. We will also take credit card for payments of the dues at the event.
It’s important that you signup as early as possible since space is limited. Also, we need a reasonable count of number of persons participating since that determines how many crayfish we shall order for the party.
