Greek Preview is a great way to learn more about the Fraternity & Sorority Community at the University of Washington! This program is open to incoming first year/transfer students, current UW students, and parents. Our community is made up of 65 fraternities and sororities within 4 councils - the Interfraternity Council (IFC), National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), Panhellenic Council (PHC), and United Greek Council (UGC). Each council provides a unique experience but all provide membership based around scholastic achievement, leadership development, community engagement, and lifelong friendship.
Greek Preview will provide programming that focuses on an overview of fraternity & sorority life, the membership experience, how to go about joining, and a chance to mingle with all chapters. In the afternoon there will be an opportunity for council specific programming. Participation in Greek Preview will help those students who are on the fence or curious about fraternities & sororities to get their questions answered, better understand the joining process and hopefully feel more comfortable with their decision to pursue membership. It is not intended to be a recruitment weekend and is not mandatory to participate if you are interested in joining.
Registration cost covers programming and lunch at an on campus dining facility. Each registrant must register separately, including parents & family members. There are a limited number of spaces available so please register before 11:59 pm on Sunday, April 22 to reserve your spot.
If you have questions please feel free to call the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life at (206) 543-1810 or email@example.com.
