We're thrilled to announce that Mecklenburg County Detention Center is now accepting book donations! If you have gently used books in good condition that you'd like to share, we'd be grateful for your contributions. Help us promote literacy and provide a positive outlet for incarcerated individuals. ***May 4th is kickoff but we will accept for the entire month of May***
Book examples, (you may already have in your home) i.e Autobiography of Malcolm X, Angela Davis, Bell Hooks, Cornell West, Dr. Lliala Afrika, etc.
