TAT Talks is a new regular online event created to both inspire spiritual seekers and to share and preserve Richard Rose’s teachings. Guest speakers feature those who worked with Rose personally and were influenced by his approach to finding the answers to life’s biggest questions, and those who have come into contact with the TAT Foundation, the organization Mr. Rose founded.

Join us online for a 90 minute conversation and interactive discussion as we seek true self-knowledge through self-examination. The virtual event is being offered for a minimal fee of $5. If possible, please consider donating a larger amount (there are multiple payment options when registering). Your generosity will help defray the many costs incurred in preparing the new TAT Center. We deeply appreciate your support! Please register to receive Zoom details. The registration deadline for this event is January 26h, 2024.

This month’s TAT Talk, a discussion with Bob Harwood, is on Saturday, January 27th at 12pm Eastern Time (until 1.30pm ET) via Zoom.

Bob Harwood is a general contractor who designed and built hundreds of homes and commercial buildings over a period of more than forty years. Today, he and his wife, Carol, manage two commercial office parks with 55 business tenants and they pursue many different interests. Bob had an active role in developing the TAT retreat center, and has given many presentations during past TAT retreats. In his spiritual autobiography, "Pouring Concrete: A Zen Path to the Kingdom of God," recently re-published in an expanded version by the TAT Foundation, Bob recounts his path to the resolution of dozens of existential questions. Bob's other book, "A Path to Christ-Consciousness: Non-Conceptual Awareness Practice as a Doorway to the Infinite," was written as a mystical interpretation of the New Testament. His search for truth came to an end on August 17, 1999 when his past sense of personal selfhood vanished after hiking in the mountains and pursuing a meditative activity that he calls "ATA-T" (attending the actual minus thought). He realized on that day that he was NOT who had always imagined he was, and that no separate volitional entity had ever existed. He also realized that duality is solely a product of imagination, and that any sense of separateness is an illusion.
