2020 SAE National
Amateur Golf Tournament
This year marks the 42nd anniversary of Sigma Alpha Epsilon's National Amateur Golf Tournament, hosted by the Greater Pensacola SAE Alumni Association. The tournament is SAE's longest running alumni association sponsored event. Come experience brotherhood, golf, sun and the sugar white beaches of Florida's gulf coast.
**Registration and Courtesy Room are in Cottage #9
For 2020, the "2 man team event" play will be the 2-day tournament's format, better ball the first day and a 2 man scramble the 2nd. For brothers who can only attend one day, a handicapped 'Pull Your Points' round will be on Friday only. This should encourage exciting two day action, while accommodating brothers whose schedules might not allow a longer commitment. Two trophies will be awarded in each flight, as well as undergraduate brother and lowest score for a brother over the age of 55 on Friday, May 1st. The top three places will be awarded at Friday's 'Pull Your Points' competition.
Concerned about leaving your wife at home? Bring her along! There are plenty of activities for spouses to enjoy, swimming pool, beaches, spas, museums, shopping; all are at or within minutes of choice accommodations. Bring your spouse. Meet your pledge brothers or graduating class. But, whatever you do, make plans to attend!!
Don't have a partner? Register as a single! The committee will make every effort to match you with another player of your skill level. Note the committee has the final say on teams.
