What Keeps CFOs Up At Night
"In my experience, there are some high profile challenges that can significantly impact a company’s fiscal health (and keep me up at night) that also challenge our HR professionals. Areas that come to mind are excessive employee turnover and the ensuing impact on productivity and efficiency. Tight labor markets and the balance between being a competitive employer and fiscal prudence. And lastly, building bench strength to minimize disruptions and maintain business continuity.
I have found that each of these challenges (and certainly a few more) not only have the potential to significantly impact the fiscal and cultural health of an organization, but that my HR partner is the single most important resource to help make an impact in these areas. Working closely with our HR professionals to recognize, measure, and address these types of challenges not only pays dividends for the overall organization, but help me sleep better too".
