Topic: What HR Needs to know about Alternate Funding Strategies – Employer Sponsored Health Insurance. Different strategies for a changing Health Care World
About our Speaker:
Joey Janssen attended the University of Florida in the early 2000s before transferring to The University of North Florida where he graduated from the Coggin College of Business with a Degree in Marketing.
As many college graduates do, Joey spent the first couple years finding his way working jobs he didn’t like at the time but now realized had a great impact on his Career in the Insurance Industry.
Joey started working in the Insurance Industry in 2010, 6 months after Health Care Reform was passed. Instead of running away from an industry that many thought would disappear he decided to embrace the change, learn the law and educate business owners, HR Professionals and Finance professionals how this massive law will impact their business.
Since 2013 Joey has given hundreds of presentations on all things Health Insurance and Benefits Administration. Today’s topic, in Joey’s opinion, will be the future of Employer Sponsor Health Insurance. Because of that, he is currently taking and will complete the Advanced Self Funded Certification Course through the National Association of Health Underwriters in the Summer of 2018.
