Saint Paul AME Church in West Ocala is hosting a job fair limited to ten employers on Friday, July 9, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at St. Paul AME Church Fellowship Hall, 718 NW Seventh St., Ocala. Attendees will be requested to attend a short training prior to the job fair to review resumes and discuss interviewing expectations. Advance registration will be encouraged.
Attendees will include community residents from West Ocala and beyond with a focus on youth 17-25 years old. Residents of all ages will be included. We are primarily looking for companies with entry level positions or blue-collar work in areas such as food service, hotel services, distribution, construction, manufacturing, landscape maintenance, retail sales, healthcare, and customer service.
We will be glad to discuss your needs and how we can make this successful for you. Please feel free to call me at (352) 229-2887. I am providing volunteer support to organize this effort to match up the growing needs of employers with an important work force pool in west Ocala.
Employers will be provided with a covered banquet table with two chairs and access to electricity if needed. To reserve your spot, please fill out and return the attached form. Remember that spaces are limited to ten, first come first served.
