About Our Speaker: Senior Investigator Issy Cheskes is the Voluntary Fiduciary Correction Coordinator and the Abandoned Plan Coordinator in the Atlanta Office of the Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA). Issy began his career with EBSA in 2000.
As a Senior Investigator, Issy conducts civil and criminal investigations related to pension and welfare benefit plans, including single-employer, union plans, Joint Training and Apprenticeship plans, and Employee Stock Ownership Plans.
Issy holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan and practiced bankruptcy law prior to joining the DOL.
