The Norwich Historical Society’s mission is to preserve, protect and promote the rich history of Norwich, CT. Each year, the Norwich Historical Society hosts our most popular event: The Antient Ghosts of Norwich which is an evening guided tour through the Colonial Burying Ground in Norwichtown. The Antient Ghosts of Norwich tour is a part of the Last Green Valley’s annual Walktober celebration.

Before night falls, join us for a ghostly scavenger hunt through one of Norwich's oldest graveyards. Learn about Norwich history, legends, and spooky tales on your quest. This scavenger hunt takes place in the same cemetery as our popular Antient Ghosts of Norwich tour. Children and their families are welcome to attend in costume. Ticket prices are $10.00 per child, plus processing fees. No walk-ins will be accepted. All proceeds benefit the Norwich Historical Society.

Please note, we cannot accept exchanges or substitutions after tickets are purchased as it would disrupt the capacity of other tours. Please choose your ticket time carefully. The tour has uneven ground, and is hilly in some areas. This tour will run rain or shine. The tours leave promptly and on time; please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour.  Parking is located around the Norwichtown Green.
