Bring your students to iFly in Tukwila for an afternoon of fun and flying! iFly provides a STEM lab experience where students learn the mechanics of flight and do hands-on experiments studying the factors that affect flight. Then each student has the opportunity to fly in the iFly wind tunnel and experience those factors first-hand. It is $35 per student (and if parents want to fly, it is $35 for them as well). Families can decide when they arrive if they want to add on a “high flight” portion to their flight, which zooms you to the top of the wind tunnel for another $8 each. The STEM lab and flight lasts most of the afternoon, so plan accordingly. As we must reserve in advance, we ask that all attendees register before April 8 for this outing.
