As a “big finale” to our 2021-2022 NFP year, the PTSA has arranged for students to have the opportunity to visit Mt St Helens and have an afternoon of learning games and activities led by educators at The Mount St. Helens Institute. https://www.mshinstitute.org/learn/volcano-outdoor-school/ This experience is $12/hour, or $48 per person (yes, they charge parents too). Many of the families who have expressed interest in attending are looking into staying overnight, either renting cabins in the area or hotel rooms (with a pool!). The venue may break students into small groups based on ages and interests. Given that many families will want to plan in advance for lodging and/or carpools, we ask that families register for this by April 15.
