OBJECTIVES: (Knowledge-Based) At the competion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
Pharmacist: (1 Contact Hour of CE) - Review the mechanism of action, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinerics, dosing and landmark clinical trial results of sodium-glucose contransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors in diabetes, heart failture, and chronic kidney disease.
- Describe primary outcomes and findings of published trials evaluating use of SGLT2 inhibitors in kidney transplant recipients.
- Identify appropriate patients for use of SGLT2 inhibitors in kidney transplant recipients based on risks/benefits and potential drug interactions.

Target Audience: This CE program was planned to meet the needs of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians practicing in a variety of health systems.
