Join your fellow NESW members on Sunday, Sept. 25 for a guided hike at Blue Hills Reservation in Milton, followed by a tour of the Blue Hills Meteorological Observatory. Rain date: October 2.

The cost is $3 each the hike and the observatory tour, a total of $6 per person.
(Apologies for the incorrect promise of a free event earlier!)
We will meet near the Trailside Museum in Milton at 12:45 p.m. (Carpooling may be possible depending on where attendees are coming from.) The hike and observatory tour should each last between 60-90 minutes. The hike is not very strenuous, as we will be stopping frequently to hear about the ecology and history of the area. Depending on the group, we may be able to request a more difficult hike. The Trailside Museum has several rescued animals, including a snowy owl and a river otter.
