You are invited to join the Georgia Chapters of the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College in person for the 2023 Spelman Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, starting at 9 am. Meet your legislators, and hear the latest developments in reproductive rights, black maternal health, and more. 

Spelman attendees are asked to wear blue business attire for the day. We will be walking between buildings. Wearing comfortable shoes is strongly encouraged.

The tentative schedule for the day is as follows:

9:00 am - Arrival
9:15 am - Welcome & Introductions
9:45 am - Photo on the South Steps of the Capitol
10:00 am - Senate Chamber Gallery
10:15 am - Resolution with Dr. Gayle
10:55 am - Introduction of Legislative Presentations
11:00 am - 1st -  Legislative Overview - Education
11:30 am - 2nd Legislative Overview - Health Care
12:00 pm - 3rd Legislative Overview - Criminal Justice Reform
1230 pm Lunch - Legislator Meet and Greet 
1:00 pm -  Announcements/Close
