Are you thinking about building your family tree or maybe you have started but need help on where to look next? In celebration of Black History Month, the Spelman National Alumnae Association invites you to an interactive genealogy workshop with Andre Kearns, Morehouse ’94 - noted genealogist, public speaker, commentator and writer with deep roots in the American south and a passion for discovering new ancestors and sharing their stories forward. He has extensively researched his family tree tracing back to 1619 and the first Africans to arrive in Virginia.

The event will take place both online via Zoom and in-person at the The Villages at Carver Family YMCA on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 1pm.

Come ready to unlock your family's story.
