Guide to Understanding Construction Documents for Permit Techs – ½ Day Seminar 

This presentation is geared toward Permit Technicians who would like to know more about what makes a complete building plan submittal and how this understanding can better enhance their document intake and permit issuance workflows.  Class participants will be presented with a practical plan review approach to building plan submittals using common permit review examples. Throughout the discussion, your presenter will provide helpful tips, tricks, and best practices for understanding what makes a complete construction document submittal.

Over 46 years of experience in the construction industry - residential, multi-family, commercial and industrial. Provide inspection services, permit and inspection department administration, photography services (job progress, construction defect, etc.), third party plan reviews, code consulting, and construction and code training seminars. Also assist plaintiff and defense counsel as an expert witness in cases concerning construction claims, time delays, construction defects, safety, and code noncompliance.
