The Mass NOW state conference is a welcoming, energizing annual event where members from across the state gather to discuss the work of the last year and help us move ahead. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.
This year we have a lot to talk about, so don't miss it!
On the agenda:
- Feminist community building and networking.
- Mass NOW Foundation & Inc. Board Reports: An overview of what we've accomplished this year, what we're working on to grow our impact, our goals for the upcoming year, and what we need to help us meet our goals.
- 2017 Feminism in Action Presentation: Meet Grey Bates, our 2017 Feminism in Action Grantee and a student at Emerson College. Learn about her project, 2121, a tabletop game focused on educating young people about the gender gap in Congress and inspiring girls and women to run for office.
- 2018 Race Dialogues Series Presentation in collaboration with YW Boston. Choose from two skill-building workshops designed to amplify your voice: How to Stay on Message: the Pivot led by Jordan Berg Powers, Director of Mass Alliance; How to Write an Op-Ed or Column led by Mass NOW's Co-VPs of Communications.
- Mass NOW Foundation & INC. Board elections
This event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are requested - RSVP today!
