About this Hive Inspection
This Hive Inspection is being led by Gina Gallucci. Blue Heron Nature Preserve's driveway is across the street from Pike's. Gina will be in the parking lot by 10:45. Everyone will meet in the lot and walk over to the apiary at 11:00. Please be on time, the apiary isn't in sight of the parking lot. If you need to contact Gina that morning, please use her cell: 404-519-4141.
You are required to bring and wear protective gear. The options are:
- Full bee suit with attached veil, closed-toe shoes, socks, and gloves, or
- Bee jacket with attached veil, long pants, closed-toe shoes, socks, and gloves, or
- Bee veil, light colored shirt with long sleeves, long pants, closed-toe shoes, socks, and gloves
Please bring your own water and don't forget to bring your signed waiver which you can download here.
