In 1994 William Deary founded Great Lakes Caring through a joint vision with his wife, Cheri Lyn Deary. The Deary's original vision for Great Lakes was to be the best in home health care provider in Jackson and employ a satff of 25 people to serve it's local clients. Fast forward 24 years later to today and Great Lakes Caring is a leading provider within the industry of in-home health care services fulfilling it's dedication to serving it's client's in the areas of: home health, hospice, and pallative care. Through maintaining their strong commitment to patient satisfaction and emphasis on employee work life balance, Great Lakes Caring has expanded operations to employ 2,600 people across 7 states with 25 offices. 

Through William's leadership and passion for running a company that operates at a world-class standard, he was honored as "Michigan Small Business Person of the Year" by the Small Business Administration and Great Lakes Caring has been recognized numerous consecutive years by Inc. Magazine as one of the "Fastest Growing Private Companies in America".
