IEBCA In-Person Event:
Managing Risks in Project Environments

(Registration required - Please see notes below.)

Event Description:

Please join the Iranian Engineers of BC Association (IEBCA) in an informative in-person presentation by Mehran Jamshidi from EffiCert Academy. The presentation is in English and members of Engineers and Geoscientists BC may claim 1 Continuing Education (CE) Hour for attending the event..

According to the Project Management Institute (PMI), projects are temporary endeavors to deliver something unique. During a project’s life cycle, there may be several uncertainties that, if they arise, will impact the project’s objectives. It is essential that project managers proactively plan ways to manage their projects’ risks productively and reasonably. The purpose of this session is to provide a brief overview of the concept of Risk Management and discuss ways in which we can plan, analyze, respond to, and monitor risks in project environments.
