Tournament:  The Shamble

Format: 4 Man Team Event
Tournament Description
The Shamble is a four-man competition played on the Old Course-White Tees. This is a modified Scramble format counting two net balls of the foursome.

Each player in the foursome must contribute a minimum of 4 tee shots!

All 4 players hit their tee shot. The team selects the best drive. From this point, the hole is played out at stroke play with all members of the team playing their own ball. Your ball is placed within one club-length of the selected drive, no closer to the hole, same cut of grass. The team score is the sum of the two best balls net in the foursome. You may pick up if you are clearly out of the hole.

Playing Handicap Calculation
60% of course handicap (maximum index of 27.5)

The Tie Break Procedure will follow USGA recommendations (last 9, 6, 3, 1 scores).

Sign-Up Instructions
When signing up, enter your partner's name in the “Partners” box. If you do not have a team, we will pair you up. Only pay for one *ticket* - the correct one for you. Please also remind your partners to sign up as well.

If you have pairing requests please try to enter them in the Notes to the Tournament Director field.

Cancellations and No Shows
Members may cancel their participation in any tournament up to the cancellation deadline and receive a full refund. Members who cancel after the cancellation deadline are responsible for any charges the Club incurs. Members who fail to show for a tournament will forfeit the complete tournament fee.
