I will be registering as:

SOLD OUT!!!! (This years event has sold out for Drivers).

Welcome to Occupy Grayling 2019: The Dirty Dozen

Occupy Grayling is back! We have teamed up with Grand Rapids Jeep Club again this year to provide help before, and during the event.

Occupy Grayling: The Dirty Dozen will begin on Friday, September 20th, 2019 at 12PM EST and end on Sunday, September 22rd at 12:00PM EST. We will be back at River Park Campground again this year for the event. The address for the campground is 2607 Peter’s Rd, Grayling, MI  49738.

As with last year, this year’s event will be a charity event to benefit Blue Star Mothers of Michigan. They are Military mothers of all branches of the service, including mothers of recruits, active duty, and honorably discharged Veterans, who are working together toward their mission of helping the Troops & Veterans, honoring the families of our Fallen, and support each other. 100% of the proceeds raised from this year’s event will go to 2 chapters; Ionia Kent & Montcalm MI-188 and Ottawa-North Kent MI-194.

The scavenger hunt from previous years is back again. We will still have trail rides from previous years but this year we are adding more trail guides and we will have all types of trail rides from mild to wild available all weekend.  We will have trail rides available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. After our pre-run this summer, we will announce the schedule of trail rides for the weekend. Please watch the Facebook page for updates.

During online registration, we will ask you to decide on your ride preference for Saturday’s big ride. We have several options available. Some rides will have max limits, and possible equipment requirements.

Just like previous years, Saturday will feature our largest trail ride followed by lunch, the scavenger hunt, and our Saturday night cookout. Food and drinks will be provided for the Saturday night cookout. Saturday night also features our prize raffles, 50/50 Raffle, and Silent Auctions. Watch the Facebook page for sponsor announcements, including prize donations.

We have worked hard to keep the cost of this year’s events close to previous years as possible, and feel we have done a good job at this. We are working closely with the DNR and area Grayling officials for this year’s event. The $27 fee covers registration of vehicle and driver, Saturday dinner for the driver, 1 ticket to the prize raffle, and an event sticker. Each additional passenger 12 and up is $6.00, and every passenger under 12 is $3.00 and will help cover dinner and other prizes.

Event stickers, t shirts, and hoodies, are also available for purchase via the website, during the registration process. Sticker & clothing sales will end on August 28th  at noon, so we have time to get them printed before the event. You can purchase stickers and clothing even if you do not plan to attend the event. These items will be available after the event.

Camping is available as well, and can be ordered through the website, during registration. Two types of camping are available. Sites with water/electric are $35-40 a night (2 Night Stay Only) and Rustic sites are $20 a night (2 Night Stay Only, 1 Tent & 1 Vehicle ONLY). There is currently only 20 electric/water sites available and 20 Rustic sites available. The campground is working hard to add additional sites for this year’s event. If that happens, we will make an announcement and open those spots up. Please watch or subscribe to the Facebook page to be kept aware of updates. We have also added a waiting list field during the signup process for campsites.

Campsite reservations for Occupy Grayling must be made through OUR website, not by calling the campground directly. Please make sure to read the description of each site when purchasing.

If you have any questions, please direct them to our FB page at www.facebook.com/occupygrayling

Event and campsite registrations will close Friday, September 13th at 10:00a.m. or when all spots are taken.

We look forward to seeing you this year!
