GRJC @ Grandville 4th of July Parade
I will be registering as:
GRJC will once again be participating in the Grandville 4th of July Parade. We will also be offering rides in the parade, to veterans that cannot complete the route on foot.
GRJC will be very near the front of the parade. We will be group #6. While this means we get done soonest, it also means we have to line up earliest. All attendees need to be lined up at our staging area by 9:30 a.m.
The parade steps off at 11:00 a.m.
Staging Area is on Old 44th St near Wilson. You must enter Old 44th St from near Rivertown Parkway. Please see attached pictures.
We are also looking for volunteers to walk the route, next to the Jeeps, to hand out candy to the crowd. Please see attached picture for rules on walkers, and handing out candy. We invite everyone participating to bring at least 1 bag of candy to the parade to be passed out. The more we have the better.
Feel free to decorate your Jeep for the occasion. This is the 50th Anniversary for this parade!
Each driver MUST email the club, their DL # along with a copy of their vehicle insurance. This is a parade mandate, and there are no exceptions. Please email to 616Jeeps@gmail.com.
RSVP's will close a week before the event in order to collect all info and communicate to those attending.
