GRJC will once again be attending the Blessing of the Jeeps in Mesick, MI, on Saturday, May 4th.

We will begin the day with a convoy to the event. Last year we had over 50 Jeeps in the convoy.
Convoy Meeting location: Westgate Bowling - 4486 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321
Convoy pulling out of Westgate at 7:00 sharp.
Travelling up 37 to Mesick. Will stop at the Corner Express (11252 W M 55, Wellston, MI 49689) on the way up for gas, bathrooms, etc. Then will proceed on to the Blessing.

Post Blessing Trail RIde Info (MEMBERS ONLY): For those interested in the trail ride afterwards, we will be leaving the Blessing at 1:30 p.m. We will be travelling to the Leroy Village Market (16101 180th Ave, Le Roy, MI 49655) to begin the first of 2 trails on the day.
You will be on your own to get to Leroy, but the directions from the Blessing are:
Head southeast on M-115 E/M-37 N - 381 ft
At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto M-115 E - 21.2 mi
Turn right onto S Mackinaw Trail - 9.4 mi
We should arrive in Leroy about 2:15, and will be leaving Leroy at 2:30.
We will be travelling trails between Leroy and Evart. This ride should take approximately 2 hours, depending on the size of the group. .
From Evart, we will head to Brohman on pavement. Should be about a 45-60 minute drive.
We should arrive at the Brohman One Stop gas station (7586 N Woodbridge Rd, Brohman, MI 49312) at about 5:30-5:45, for a quick break and to pick up anyone interested.
We will leave Brohman at 6:00.
From Brohman, we will hit the trail again for another 1.5-2 hours, and end up in just north of White Cloud. Once off the trail, we will head to Jimmy’s Roadhouse (8574 Mason Dr, Newaygo, MI 49337), for a bite to eat. We should arrive in Newaygo about 8:30 ish.
We understand this will be a long day, and is why we have scheduled points on the ride for people to pull off if they would like to or have to.
Also, these times are subject to change based on a variety of circumstances.
Paid members - This IS a ticket event. (Members must make sure to sign in with the Day Leader in order to get ticket credit).
