The Friends of the New Bern-Craven County Public Library are pleased to present a luncheon with Washington Post correspondent Jenna Johnson. "Jenna is a political reporter who covers the White House and travels around the country to interview Americans about what's happening in Washington. She spent more than a year writing about Donald Trump's presidential campaign, traveling to 35 states to attend more than 170 political rallies and interview hundreds of Trump supporters. Jenna grew up in Omaha and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln." Jenna will provide a non-partisan overview of her experiences.
Lunch includes: Chicken Marsala, Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Plantains, Mixed Vegetable Medley, Rolls, Carrot Cake, Iced Tea, Coffee, Water.
We will be raffling off a number of books written by Washington Post reporters.
Seating is limited, so purchase your tickets ASAP! Please note that purchasing a ticket is the only way to ensure you won't miss this event. Tickets are non-refundable.
