Join me as we explore the local lava hole known as Mermaid’s Cave. Pack a lunch and chair/blanket and we can dine on the beach after we explore the cave’s area. If you are up to it, you can enter the cave via a ladder I will bring. You’ll climb down approx. 6 feet into the hole (cave) and you can snap some great photos. NOTE: Sturdy and CLOSED toe shoes are recommended for this area as it is full of uneven and jagged lava rock. Carpool from the F.S. gas station at 0900 or meet at 0930 at the Nanakuli Beach Park located off HI-93 (Past Ko Olina) at 89-115 Nanakuli Ave.
