Carpool if you like or meet in the parking lot at the east end of the Ala Moana Beach Park at 1730 to walk out to Magic Island for sunset. 1818 is the time for catching a perfect view of the sun setting into the ocean from this popular vantage point. Feel free to bring a chair or stand on the concrete sidewalk. It’s a glorious spot for snapping photos of the surfers, Diamond Head, the lagoon and the sunset.
