Come and join us as we honor and salute our WWII heroes on National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. Members may carpool from the FS gas station in groups of five at 0830 or meet at the Ford Island Community Center parking lot at 0900. We will be walking the 3.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail. The trail features 30 historical markers at 15 nodes along the accessible trail, highlighting the significant sites and events associated with Ford Island. This trail is good for all skill levels.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and sunscreen. Bring a drink to carry along your walk ad pack a lunch to keep in your car. We will enjoy a picnic lunch at the park after our walk.
