Sharp Park Golf Course is an historic seaside links, designed by the preeminent architect Alister MacKenzie, who also designed Augusta National, Cypress Point, and many more of the world’s most esteemed courses.  Sharp Park is one of MacKenzie’s rare public links.
Opened in 1932, with a still-standing hacienda clubhouse designed by Willis Polk’s office, the course is at the intersection of Sharp Park Road and the Coast Highway.  It is often called “The Poor Man’s Pebble Beach,” and offers fabulous views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding headlands and mountains.  In 2014, Golfweek Magazine named Sharp Park (along with Harding Park) as among America’s 50 Greatest Municipal Courses.  This is a seaside and inland course with several holes that wrap around Laguna Salada, a natural lake,
