The Ghoulish Gallop returns to Kings Gap on Saturday, October 28, 2017, for its second year of ghostly fun.  Avoid the ghouls and goblins as you traverse the one-mile course through the woods, stopping at four different stations to take on the gooey challenges.  

Register by October 14, 2017, and we'll provide a clean shirt with the Ghoulish Gallop logo (shirts cannot be guaranteed if you register after Oct 14). Your job is to make a mess of that shirt as you take on our ghoulish challenges.  Survive the course and prizes will be awarded in numerous categories for shirt splatters.  We'll also have a special grand prize randomly chosen from those that preregister.

Don't worry - it's a gruesome course but not a gruelling one.  Our intent is to create a fun event for the entire family.  The course is suitable for the young ones but rocks and branches aren't so friendly for the strollers so plan accordingly for the toddlers.  And while pets are part of the family, we ask that you leave them at home for this event.  Do you really want to give Rover another bath?

And speaking of baths....if you plan to fully participate in the event, you will need to clean up.  We've got you covered with a cauldron of water and some soap but come prepared to have some messy clothes for the ride home.

Do you have an older child that would prefer to dress up as a zombie and chase the little ones through the woods - bring them along (you will need to provide the costume).  We are looking for volunteers to add a little excitement to the woods.

Registration opens at 3:00pm and we'll start sending groups out on the course about 4:00pm.  This is not a timed event so complete the course at your leisure but prizes for shirts will be awarded at 5:30pm.  There will also be a firepit with all the makings for s'mores and grilled hot dogs so plan to tell your stories of survival.
